Watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (old version). Here’s some memorable lines from a conversation between Charlie & his mom:
Charlie’s Mom: “Charlie, you’ll get your chance. One day things will change.”
Charlie: “When? When will they change?”
Charlie’s Mom: “Probably when you least expect it.”
- Then she goes on and sings a kinda sad, slow song. But her last lines are the best:
“Cheer up, Charlie - Just be glad you’re YOU.”
A great reminder from the classic Willy Wonka movie.
